Postdoc position available on POSEIDON Project

This position relates to EU-funded project on PersOnalized Smart Environments to increase Inclusion of people with DOwn’s SyNdrome (POSEIDON) which is hosted by the Research Group on Development of Intelligent Environments within the School of Science and Technology at Middlesex University (London).

The candidate will undertake a range of research tasks as a key member of the POSEIDON project research team. The POSEIDON project is a multi-disciplinary project which focuses on the creation of an intelligent environment to support inclusion of people with Down’s Syndrome. One of the important contributions from our team is in helping to create a mixed reality environment to support education and training of people with Down’s syndrome at home, at school and at work. Our contribution in this area will require expertise in areas like Human-Computer Interaction, Virtual Reality, or Mixed Reality. The post will be located in the School of Science and Technology at Middlesex University’s Hendon campus in London, and will be a member of the Research Group on Development of Intelligent Environments.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals with experience in and a passion for research. Especially of interest for this post will be those with experience in Intelligent Environments, and more specifically in areas like Human-Computer Interaction, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality.

We expect candidates to have been involved in research activities including a track record of high quality publications. Also desirable is to be able to provide evidence to have contributed to obtaining research funds.
